Covid 19 Update

UPDATED STATEMENT REGARDING CCPV ON-CAMPUS GATHERINGS (Effective May 1st)

On April 29, Governor Doug Ducey announced his decision to extend the STAY-AT-HOME order for Arizona through May 15. In light of that announcement, the CCPV elders have decided to continue the suspension of our on-campus church gatherings through May 31. We took the following factors into consideration for our decision:

1) New cases of COVID-19 in our community are at their highest levels.
2) New cases of COVID-19 in our county are at their highest levels.
3) Physical distancing requirements would only allow 1/3 of our congregation to gather
4) A significant percentage of our vulnerable members would not be allowed to gather at all.

We realize that many in our church family are anxious to get back together…so are we! But we want to do it in a safe manner. The health and well-being of our church family is our priority.

Our leaders will re-evaluate this decision in mid-May when Governor Ducey updates Arizona’s guidelines. We are working on plans that will allow us to return to on-campus worship in a safe, sanitary environment as soon as it’s possible.

In the meantime, please continue to enjoy CHURCH AT HOME (online worship) at our website each Sunday. Also, please take advantage of all the daily resources that are available on our Facebook page.

Finally, thank you for your continued support of our church…it’s making a difference! God bless you!
